Pumpkin flare or Pumpkin scare

So, let’s face it, most kids and even adults love this time of year. Fall brings out the best festivities like pumpkin patches, haunted houses, zombie fests, creative costumes and of course house decorations. It is the beginning of an ongoing theme to dress your house up for the Fall and Winter season.

Right now, I have Halloween on my mind and I have a few questions for you…

Who loves Halloween? What is your Halloween style? Do you even have one?

For me, I love looking at cute decorations, adorable costumes, eating yummy treats, setting up house decorations, going to Halloween parties and of course the grand finale …. Trick or Treating!!! EEEEEK…. There is so much to do when October comes.

Do you ever ask yourself what people on the outside of your walls want to see?  It is crazy how powerful the mind is.

Some of us have a more conservative appearance that is rather calm and collected where on the flip side you see amazing houses that make your jaw drop because of the imagination it took to pull something off that is so scary, so horrifying and it literally makes you say “aww”, Either way it is awesome and fun.

Therefore, how do you come up with a theme for Halloween or any type of festivity that involves decorating? Where do you start? How much time does it take? How much will it cost? And Where the heck do I find the creativeness to bring this decorating idea together? HAHAHA, this is what goes through my mind and it gets me overwhelmed.

On a good note, here is what I found. When it comes to decorating your home, you can do whatever you want. It is a great time to have everyone in your household work as a team to bring it together. It builds love laughter and memories. Your home is where your story starts.  Plus, you can be funny, classy, elegant, scary, horrifying, cute, etc. Why? Because it’s your house! Did you know your personality and lifestyle reflects the outcome of what your themes final look will be?  Crazy huh!
